Winemaker Notes

The 2024 Belle Reve Yates Family Vineyard Viognier is sourced from a single vineyard located high atop Mount Veeder. Due to a slower maturing vintage, the fruit stayed on the vine longer than usual, adding more depth and weight to the wine. It presents vibrant flavors of ripe pear and apricot, with a medium body. The ripe pear notes envelop the palate, leading to a clean, lively finish.

Harvest Notes

The 2024 growing season was a nice follow on to 2023. The temperatures were warm, and consistent, with very few heat spikes. With bud break arriving early, we ended up harvesting about a week earlier than normal. Following on from the pleasant summer weather, we were able to harvest this vineyard, at night, early on September 23rd.
