The 2023 Bliss Rutherford Sauvignon Blanc expresses the wonderful vintage of 2023. With 86% Sauvignon Blanc and 14% Semillon in the blend, it is a true Bordeaux blend. The fruit was sourced from the heart of Rutherford. Aged primarily in neutral French oak barrels, the wine was stirred on a regular basis, incorporating the weight of the lees on the midpalate. Showing more weight on the palate than previous years, you are treated to melon and tropical notes on the nose, with zesty grapefruit and tropical fruit on the palate. Finishes clean making it a wonder wine to serve with food.
